PD: I love this drawing, but I think there is a mistake there...

  1. The mistake is that when we inhale we not only inhale oxygen.

  2. In the last coment I forgot to say that we exhale also oxygen because we only use part of the oxygen we inhale

  3. There some parts of the respiratory canal that are mising, such as the epiglotis and the larynxs (what i mean is that according to the drawing there is no cartilage (epiglottis) to prevent the entrance of other substances such as food and water to the respiratory organs; for the drawing the nasal cavity has a direct conection with the mouth and the only thing that separes them from the lungs is the trachea)

In the picture are missing the larynx, the epiglotis and the pharynx.

  5. I think that the mistake here is that some parts of the respiratory system are missing. For example, the pharynx. This is very important because is the connection between digestive and respiratory. Also, it seems in the picture that we only breathe oxygen and only exhale co2. This is wrong because, in our inhaled air we also breath another substances as Co2, nitrogen, etc. And in our exhaled air we also exhale another substances as Nitrogen (same amount as inhaled), Argon, and also oxygen (although it is only 0.03%)

  6. The mistake is that the oxygen intake and the carbon dioxide output does not only happen through the mouth, but also through the nose. Futthermore, carbon dioxide and oxygen are not the only gases inhaled and exhaled.

  7. The problem in this image is that oxygen is not breath through thr mouth but through the nose. Although we sometimes breath through the mouth (while exercising for example) this is wrong because in the nose we have mucus and hairs that warm the air and also take away bacteria, while in the mouth we don't have either of them.
